ESSENTIAL PARTS OF A TRUE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH

. . . Period

🙂

1) AT LEAST ‘SIXTY FOLD’ Biblically sound teaching and preaching. The church is not called to just give a popular opinion or fad doctrine but is supposed to proclaim TRUTH as it is revealed in the Bible. A LIVING New Testament church encourages spiritual growth in every individual by faithfully teaching, preaching and demonstrating from ALL of Gods Word and using that as a standard of measurement for all things. A person will feel both confronted and comforted by the truth of the Word that comes forth from the pulpit in a New Testament church .

2) Discipleship and Mentoring. The New Testament church is involved in the success of EVERY individual. As a visitor you should receive the message that “if you want to grow we will help you”. In a New Testament church you will also feel challenged and motivated to go to new levels in your Christian walk. Your past will NOT be an indicator of the possibility of your future when you are discipled and mentored in this type of church.

3) Intense Worship. In a world where passions and basic kindness have become perverted and even “simple priorities” seem to be out of order INTENSE WORSHIP is the mark of a strong church. A spirit of victory and the ‘spirit of the FIGHT’ (inside the people) wants to PUSH BACK at the ‘darkness and oppression’ of the world around them. STRONG WORSHIP actually refreshes them and makes them feel ‘mighty and strong’ against the darkness they feel in the area. Strong worship actually PUSHES back the darkness! In a true New Testament church you should feel a TANGIBLE presence of the Lord when people enter into worship.

4) Evangelism. The church was never meant to stay within the four walls. The church was NEVER meant to stay within the FOUR WALLS. THE CHURCH WAS NEVER DESIGNED TO STAY WITH FOUR WALLS !! In a New Testament church there should be a vision to reach the local community- get SOULS- and bring REAL change and reformation to the surrounding area.
